143 is the upcoming seventh studio album by the American singer Katy Perry. It is set for release on September 20, 2024, by Capitol Records. The album title references the popular phrase “I love you”, but was also inspired by what Perry considers as her symbolic “angel number”.
In order to create an effervescent “dance party” album channeling joy, Perry turned to producers Max Martin, Dr. Luke, and Stargate, who had produced her earlier songs, but also worked with first-time collaborators Vaughn Oliver and Rocco Did It Again! 143 also features guest appearances from German singer Kim Petras and American rappers JID, 21 Savage and Doechii.
The album was preceded by the release of three singles: “Woman’s World” was released as the lead single on July 11, 2024, followed by “Lifetimes” on August 8 and “I’m His, He’s Mine” featuring Doechii on September 13. “Woman’s World” peaked at number 63 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 47 on the UK singles chart.
